Aloha Tofu Patties


Aloha Tofu Recipe Contest Winner Tracey Apoliona

Ingredients:

1 (20 ounce) container Firm Aloha Tofu, drained

1 cup cooked salmon, flaked

1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped

1/2 cup crab meat

1 cup water chestnuts, chopped

1/4 cup green onion, diced

1 egg

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoons shoyu (soy sauce)

1-1/2 cups panko (breading)

sprinkle of black pepper

Preparation:

Mix all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Form into patties and fry in cooking oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Make an additional dripping sauce. A reduction of 1 cup sugar, 1 cup shoyu, and 1 cup water. Lay patties on a platter and drizzle with the sauce. Patties can be served hot or cold.
