Decompressing With Tofu Too
From the Ono, You Know section of the Dining Out (Honolulu Star-Advertiser) on Sunday, March 18, 2012, Alana Folen writes about Decompressing with Tofu. I totally agree! In our hectic daily life of work, traffic, children, sports, and homework our family tends to eat out a lot at nearby restaurants and fast food take-out/drive-thrus. However, whenever possible we like to “go back to the basics” and make something with tofu. Tofu dishes are quick and easy. Tofu is so versatile that it can be used as a substitute for ground beef, eggs, sour cream, cheese and much more. Tofu doesn’t have any particular flavor so it takes the flavor of whatever it’s cooked with very well. Finally, tofu is nutritious and healthy. So when life gets too much for you…decompress with tofu too!
