Slow Food Oahu Visits Aloha Tofu!
We were very fortunate to host some special guests this Sunday when a group of 20 people fromSlow Food Oahu came for a tour! This well-informed group of interested (and interesting) consumers were able to learn about the art of tofu making and enjoy some great samples of things made with tofu like: Aloha Tofu Patties, Okara, Marinated Atsuage with veggies and a Tofu Mousse! This, along with the fresh soymilk and oboro-dofu made for a pretty good snack/brunch (I hope). I like their group’s message of eating local, eating natural and eating things made in Hawaii!
Thanks for coming down, Slow Food Oahu and we hope to see you soon!
