Fans from Afar – Part III
Our next Fan from Afar is Hal from Seattle, Washington. Hal sent us wonderful photos of the Space Needle and unique skyline of Seattle. Atop the Queen Anne Hill, Hal wears our cap with that familiar Aloha spirit in his smile!
Here are some fun facts for those of you who aren’t familiar with the Space Needle! It was built for the futuristic World’s Fair in 1962 and its design was a compromise between sketches of a flying saucer and a hot air balloon. It became Seattle’s landmark in 1999 and is now the West Coast’s New Year’s premier event!
Hal w/Seattle Skyline
Let’s not forget the unique Seattle skyline! The reason it’s a one of a kind is because it’s got some of the tallest buildings in the West that are compressed into one area with a beautiful waterfront that includes some great fish markets.
Mahalo Hal for sharing about this beautiful city and we hope to see you soon!
