Tofu Tips
Our tofu is made fresh daily, and although there are a ton of recipes out there, sometimes we don’t prepare it fast enough. Nothing’s worse than wasted food!
So here are a few suggestions that we came up with to prepare and preserve your tofu:
Tofu can be…baked, blended, braised, broiled, crushed, crumbled or cubed! It can be grilled, mashed, mixed, marinated, steamed and stir-fried!
Tofu can be used in… appetizers, breads, cookies, desserts, dressings, dips, salads, soups, sauces and main dishes!
Once opened, be sure to change the water for your tofu everyday until it is used! This will help to keep the flavor fresh!
Firm tofu can be frozen for up to 5 months! However, the color will turn brownish and the texture will become “spongy”.
We hope this helps, and if you have any suggestions please be sure to share them in the comments! No one should ever waste a good piece of tofu.
